The work is carried on by small groups of local coordinators that work with churches and community leaders in the targeted counties to identify local needs.  These coordinators match needs of the poorest counties with the talents and gifts of prople from your church.  By meeting these needs your people have opportunities to share the good news about Jesus.

These mission projects are in the El Paso area.  We can use all age groups on a variety of projects (construction, children and youth ministry, painting, adult classes, medical, and dental ).  Many churches work together this week on these projects.

These mission projects are in the Harlingen and McAllen area.  We can use all age groups on a variety of projects (construction, children and youth ministry, painting, adult classes, medical, dental and gardening).  Many churches work together this week on these projects.

·        Plan your own mission trip (anytime during the year)

We can help you plan your own church’s mission trip in the Harlingen/McAllen area or in the El Paso area too.  In El Paso t here is a great deal of work to be done in the areas devastated by flooding.  There is economical housing for volunteers. This would be a closer area to serve for churches in west Texas and the panhandle, rather than traveling to the KidsHeart work in south Texas
